But this feature wasn’t added to Gtalk which is almost the replica of Gmail chat. So, if a user has logged in to Gtalk and Gmail chat simultaneously then Gmail chat doesn’t allow user to change the mode to invisible mode. I hope soon Google would add this feature to Gtalk also.

Really very good point,
But first of all allowing the users logging into gtalk and gmail chat is not a good idea.
If they solve this problem, eventually it will solve invisible mode problem you stated.
I donno how google did this. Though both of the IMs are from the same company.
Both the Google guys, Larry Page and Sergey Brin are known to be Straight forward guys.If you're busy, say you're busy:) Guess that's the reason Invisible Mode is not there in the first place.
